Donating cryptocurrency is a non-taxable event, meaning you do not owe capital gains tax on the appreciated amount and can deduct it on your taxes. Why should i donate stock/mutual funds/etfs?
Gifts through your investments can help reduce your tax burden, resetting your stock’s cost basis and reducing your capital gains taxes.
