23 million Americans will not receive the help they need in any given year. Starting this #GivingTuesday, your support helps the TWLOHA movement reach millions of people with stories that build hope, meet thousands of people with mental health resources, and remove barriers to care through our therapy scholarships. We invite you to invest in this movement with a contribution of an asset like crypto or stock.
In 2023, TWLOHA:
- Reached more than 20 million people to share hope, offer support, and fight against stigma
- Gave 29,875 students access to a mental health curriculum and resiliency tools through our Between the Bells program
- Distributed over 12,500 FIND HELP pamphlets at 30 community events in 15 states
- Granted $250,000 in mental health scholarships and crisis services—providing 3,100+ hours of counseling and 11,000 calls and conversations on crisis lines

Why should I donate cryptocurrency?
The IRS classifies cryptocurrencies as property, so cryptocurrency donations to non-profit 501(c)(3) charities like TWLOHA receive the same tax treatment as donating stocks. Donating cryptocurrency is a non-taxable event, meaning you do not owe capital gains tax on the appreciated amount and can deduct it on your taxes. Please contact your tax or financial advisor for more information.

Why should i donate stock/mutual funds/etfs?
Gifts through your investments can help reduce your tax burden, resetting your stock’s cost basis and reducing your capital gains taxes. If you already have an idea of the amount you’d like to gift to charity this year, consider giving the equivalent out of your assets—it not only reduces your tax burden but contributes to a healthier portfolio as you go into the new year.
