In honor of National Suicide Prevention Week, TWLOHA is hosting a special educational event: “Calming the Biological Storm of Deadly Thinking” with Dr. Alauna Curry. This webinar will introduce the connection between psychological trauma and suicidal thoughts and behaviors. Participants will be introduced to the six key primitive brain systems that are predictably programmed by our most painful experiences, and the role they play in driving negative thoughts, emotions, and potentially deadly actions. Lastly, attendees will be introduced to Empathy Skills Practice™, a methodology designed to activate the most evolved brain system, the prefrontal cortex, as a counterbalance to better regulate harmful thoughts, impulses, and behaviors.

This event is free to attend but you must register because space is limited.
