That’s why we created the Treatment & Recovery Scholarship Program—to make it possible for you to get the help you deserve. If you are facing financial hardship, we want you to have access to the care you need.
ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP FUND

Anyone may apply for TWLOHA’s Treatment & Recovery Scholarship. Whether you live in the U.S. or internationally, we can help. If you are under the age of 18, we require a guardian to complete the application on your behalf.
Scholarships typically offer, on average, three to six months of mental health care. And, because we know that mental health care is best delivered over time you may have the option for an extension. We typically fund individual therapy sessions at a rate of $65-$100 per session. Any additional cost of treatment is the applicant’s financial responsibility. We currently are unable to assist with the cost of more intensive services like intensive outpatient (IOP), sober living, or other higher levels of care.

Treatment & Recovery Scholarship Application Update
The Treatment & Recovery Scholarship application is currently closed and will begin receiving new submissions starting June 1st, 2024. Due to an increase in requests for assistance, we have a waiting list for funds and are currently approving aid for those individuals. As we work on meeting the needs of our current waiting list there are other options available to you, which you can read more about below. If you have already completed an application, please review the Treatment & Recovery Scholarship Flow Chart below to ensure you have completed all necessary steps. Connect to help through BetterHelp
While our individual therapy scholarship is closed, we still have openings to award scholarships for those who are willing to receive care via telehealth and matched to a licensed mental health professional within the BetterHelp platform. Those who apply for this option with BetterHelp will receive 3 months of free therapy with a licensed mental health provider. The process is simple and you can begin sessions within a matter of days once you start the process.
