Since 2006, TWLOHA has invested $2.4 million in making it possible for people to sit with a counselor or attend a support group when they need it most. And each year, we invite our supporters through our World Suicide Prevention Day campaign to continue supporting our Treatment and Recovery Scholarship Program.
These funds represent a collective belief that people should have access to professional mental health care. We believe reaching out for help is a brave first step in a journey toward better days.
ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP FUND
Applications for Treatment & Recovery Scholarships are accepted in seasonal cycles, on a first-come, first-served basis, depending on the demonstrated financial needs of an individual.
The Fall 2019 application is currently open for services being sought between November 2019 through March 2020. Fall applications will close when the funds budget has been reached. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
If you face any challenges completing the application or have questions, please email FINDHELP@twloha.com with the subject line: “FALL 2019 APPLICATION HELP – [Your Initials]”. If you have questions concerning your insurance, special circumstances, how to find a counselor or anything else, please read through the FIND HELP FAQ first.
Once you’ve submitted an application our team will contact you directly. In the meantime, if you’re looking for a mental health provider, we encourage you to check out our FIND HELP Tool.
Or, if you’re in need of support right now, we encourage you to reach out to our friends at Crisis Text Line. Simply text TWLOHA to 741 741 to be connected to a trained counselor for free, 24/7 support.
