You’re invited to take part in our QPR Suicide Prevention Virtual Training!
This month’s training is Tuesday, April 22nd at 3pm ET
QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer — the 3 simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide. Just as people trained in CPR and the Heimlich Maneuver help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help.
QPR can be learned in our Gatekeeper course in as little as 1.5 hours in this virtual training session. A certificate of completion is offered to attendees who are present for the entirety of the training.
Attendees must be 18+.
This training is a ticketed event of $20 to cover costs of training materials to be distributed upon completion of the session.
This is a virtual training which will require you to use a device with Zoom capabilities.
Eight attendees are the minimum requirement per training class and will be maxed at 25 virtual attendees. For more information and to sign up, please visit here.
