We hear all too often that the journey to getting professional mental health care can be full of roadblocks and challenges—the most common being the financial cost. That’s why we created the Treatment & Recovery Scholarship Program—to make it possible for people to get the help they need and deserve.
*TWLOHA’s Treatment & Recovery Scholarship application is open May 1st through May 31st, 2025!*
ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP FUND
Our scholarship fund is designed to help individuals who are low-income or struggling financially afford care. We can offer support for three to six months of therapy. Our funds can be used to fully or partially cover individual therapy or counseling with a licensed mental health care provider ($65-$100 per session). We are not at this time able to apply funds to intensive outpatient (IOP), sober living, or other higher levels of care.

Alternative Mental Health Options:
BetterHelp
While our individual therapy scholarship is closed, we still have openings to award scholarships for those who are willing to receive care via telehealth and matched to a licensed mental health professional within the BetterHelp platform. Those who apply for this option with BetterHelp will receive 3 months of free therapy with a licensed mental health provider. The process is simple and you can begin sessions within a matter of days once you start the process.
