To Write Love on Her Arms is a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide. We also exist to inspire, encourage, inform, and invest in treatment and recovery.

We are seeking a Streamer Relations Contractor to support our investment in the live streaming and Twitch broadcasting space. The successful candidate would engage in a six-month contract, responsible for stewarding the active fundraisers and those engaging in key campaigns and helping to carry out logistics for live broadcasts, P2P campaigns, and any brand collaborations that cross over into this digital space.

Responsibilities:

• Continuously scout new creators, and actively recruit streamers to participate in programmatic and fundraising opportunities with TWLOHA
• Equip streamers with the tools and understanding of mental health
• Develop solid, genuine relationships with creators through regular communications, including popping in on streams or in key moments
  • Maintain relationships with TWLOHA’s streamers and continue to support their involvement with TWLOHA
  • Actively maintains and engages TWLOHA’s Creator and utilizes Discord by sharing ongoing resources and opportunities to engage and foster community within the program. (i.e. posting announcements alerting creators of upcoming campaigns, posting links and resources in support of fundraising efforts, and responding to and engaging creators via Discord regularly)
• Communicate with the Peer-to-Peer Manager to execute an annual calendar of TWLOHA-organized events, while also supporting streamer’s initiatives
  • Key campaigns include Valentine’s Day Doesn’t Have to Suck (February), Mental Health Month (May), and Suicide Prevention Month (September)
  • Responsible for recruiting and supporting streamers to stay active and engaged during campaigns to meet campaign goals
  • Ensure campaigns are built within fundraising platforms that meet TWLOHA’s communications and design standards
• Communicate with the Director of Key Relationships and Director of Partnership to field opportunities with brands within the streamer ecosphere and connect to major donors
• Actively brainstorm and propose new and creative growth and outreach strategies

Qualifications:

• 2 + years of experience working with and managing digital Influencers
• Deep knowledge of Twitch, Discord, TikTok, and industry-standard fundraising tools like Tiltify, Twitch fundraising tools, and Streamlabs
• Has successfully raised funds for a non-profit as a fundraiser or fundraiser organizer
• Expertise in the games industry and ability to detect upcoming trends impacting non-profit engagement and activity for fundraising
• Can demonstrate experience in hosting multiple fundraisers whether on an individual stream or team fundraising initiative
• Currently an active gamer and passionate about the community
• Has the capacity to discuss mental health without stigmatized language and is comfortable and confident pointing to TWLOHA’s resources

This role is a contracted position. Length of contract: six months.
