6. Keep Hope Going + Growing

While Suicide Prevention Month is 30 days where we focus on this topic, we know that mental health exists 365 days a year. We hope this month introduced you to new resources and provided helpful tools to care for yourself and check in on others—while reminding you that there is no shame in sharing the heavy things we experience. To keep our mental health front and center year-round, we invite you to follow us on social media and join us in continuing to share hope and connect people to help. Here are just a few ways you can do that:

Help Us Meet Urgent Healthcare Needs

Your donation supports the work TWLOHA is doing to connect people to the care they need and deserve. This includes our Treatment & Recovery Scholarship Program and our FIND HELP Tool. Donate specifically to support these efforts here.

Use + Add to Our FIND HELP Tool

Sometimes we’re so busy advocating for others that we forget about ourselves, or we believe the lie that needing help makes us a burden. The truth is: you deserve to have access to the professional care you need. One significant way you can combat that lie is by seeking help and caring for your well-being. Use our FIND HELP Tool to get started.

We want to make sure that this tool includes as many mental health resources as possible. If you’re a mental health professional, you can add your practice here. If you use a resource in your community, you can invite them to add their information as well.

Bring TWLOHA to Your School

Do you know about our high school program Between the Bells? We designed a one-week interactive program for high school students to spark authentic conversations about mental health and to remind those struggling they are not alone. We believe it’s never too early to start these conversations. If you or someone you know works with students between the ages of 14 and 18, click here to learn more and inquire about this free resource.

And for those who work with middle schoolers, we’ve created a variety of resources that you can download for free from our website. These are built to give you flexibility in how and where you use them.

TWLOHA in Your Workplace

We love finding ways to work with people and organizations wanting to help spread TWLOHA’s message of hope and raise funds for our mission. Whether it’s through an official partnership or hosting a benefit in your community, we’d love to hear more. Share your ideas with our team here.

You can also invite us to speak at your corporate event or lead a Mental Health First Aid or QPR Training. Learn more about these options here.
