In this episode, host Chad Moses is joined by writer and mental health advocate Jamie Agresta to continue the #WorthLivingFor conversation. Together, they explore the topic of suicidal ideation and finding purpose even in the heavy moments. Jamie speaks candidly about her firsthand experience with suicidal ideation, where she’s found hope along the way, and what she would say to someone who finds themselves in the dark headspace of struggling with intrusive thoughts.
“Invite people into your pain. I think when you are in these dark places, you want to believe the world is against you, you’re a burden, and that people don't care enough to want to be a part of that or help you. But I just want to remind everybody you are more loved then you could even imagine right now and I promise you, if you are just willing and able to open up just a little bit makes a world of a difference.”
