Hi Kate. Thank you for commenting. We are sorry to hear that someone close to you is feeling the need to harm themselves. It can feel overwhelming when you don’t know how to help them, but surely her knowing you are there for her is one of the best things you can do.

Also, she can text TWLOHA to 741741 to be connected with a trained counselor via the Crisis Text Line. It is important that she feels safe in telling you what she’s going through and that she is offered the help she may need.
