We’re hosting a conversation tonight in honor of our 10th birthday between three people who were there when it all started: TWLOHA founder Jamie Tworkowski, Jon Foreman of Switchfoot, and Renee Yohe.
It was 10 years ago today that Jon Foreman wore the very first TWLOHA shirt on stage at a Switchfoot concert in South Florida. On that night, there was no TWLOHA – not in the way that it exists today, anyway. There was just one girl, one story, and one shirt.
A lot has happened since then. 10 years of life has happened since then. We thought that we were all due for some catching up.

TWLOHA has severely impacted my life in a positive way. As a lesbian phys. Ed. Teacher who battled many addictions many times I found myself in a very dark and lonely place. I was always finding the students who would self harm and it was if as I was supposed to help them. Not onlyet has TWLOHA impacted my life but the lives of my students and for that I am so grateful.
