A friend sent me a link to this video a couple days ago. It’s Jason Mraz talking about the origin of his song “I Won’t Give Up.” i was blown away by the honesty and vulnerability as he talked about the season of struggle in which this song was born. Whether you are a fan of the song or not, i hope you find encouragement in the words before the music. May it serve as a reminder that you are not alone. We all walk dark roads at times. There is power and freedom in saying that we’ve been there, and in knowing that we don’t have to fake it.
