Though I, like the rest of the world, mourn the loss of the wonderful, energetic, kind, and hilarious Robin Williams, his death proves what I have already learned the hard way: Mental illness knows no bounds.
We’re letting them know that it’s OK to ask for help. We’re letting them know that being a survivor of depression and suicide is not something to be ashamed of.
At TWLOHA, we choose to mark this day in memory of those lost to suicide and mental illness. We hope that today's remembrance allows you space to heal and the courage to continue to live and to love.
