We’re letting them know that it’s OK to ask for help. We’re letting them know that being a survivor of depression and suicide is not something to be ashamed of.

We all need someone fighting for us, and while it may not always look the same, we are called to fight for one another.
After his third suicide attempt, professional golfer Andrew Jensen decided to his use platform to speak out about living with depression.
“When the pangs of feeling alone threatened to overtake me, I discovered mercy in composing. When I found myself paralyzed by desolation and fear, melodies stepped in to share my burden.”
It doesn’t end tonight. It doesn’t stop at midnight with the close of National Suicide Prevention Week. i don’t know about you, but this week has me excited for the future.
I had to work very hard, every day, to keep the part of me that wanted to live stronger than the part that wanted to die.
This donation will help the text line provide 2,000 hours of crisis support to more than 3,000 youth over the course of one year.
It made me realize that the thing that surprises you is the simple stuff. It's the thing you would have never have known you were missing out on until you lived it.
